I sat in the sand, sketchbook and inks strewn around me in the circle of chaos and paint. The wind howled across the beach, ripping the foam from the waves and dragging it back to sea. The power is mesmerising. My mark making is fast as each wave rolls up the beach, roaring and crashing towards me. From Borvemor Arts Residency, Summer 2025
