Suilven

The black and white image depicts a view along the ridge of Suilven towards Caisteal Liath, its western summit, with rising half-moon above the landscape of hills and lochs in the background. The image is based on the original sketches by the artist made on location in July 2021.

This work forms part of a collection of prints influenced by the travel writing and illustrations of the celebrated American artist Rockwell Kent, as well as by reflections on the insignificance of the human being in the face of the power and age of nature.
